So I think everything you said is right on, except for #1 ~ at least for me ~ the learning curve has been huge! Maybe that’s just because I have pretty much no tech knowledge and did it all on my own ~ but I just had faith that if I just put one foot in front of the other I’d get there….and I must say know, 2 months in, it really does feel pretty darn easy!

Hi Beth, thanks so much. I’ve been laying pretty low as it is so hard to get time with the 2 little ones. I still have so much to do and yes I agree that blogging is a huge learning curve but on the same token it has got to be one of the easiest ways to leave a real impression in the internet world. I have had a little experience with doing static normal websites but you leave little or no impression and to get a following it takes so much longer! Blogging truly opens a huge door and using it the two in conjunction can really give you massive results! Thanks so much Beth, I have sooooo much to learn and look forward to learning from you too!

Wow Yamuna! What a great post. You have really captured the key points on why Blogs are such a great tool for marketing. I think that Number 2 is one of the most important things. There is so much JUNK on the internet that it is sometimes hard to know who to trust and who not to trust. I am still amazed by how many fantastic people I have met through my blog network and my Tribe.
I also agree with what Beth said. When you are trying to figure it out on your own, setting up a blog can be completely overwhelming. Before I joined the Tribe I had NO CLUE what I was doing. Once you find someone who can help you get on the right track it is amazing how easy it can be. A good Blog with valuable content is much more powerful than a static website. It is well worth the time and effort to get started.

You’ve really covered it all in a nutshell, blogging is definitely the easiest way to set up your very own ‘You INC’ piece of real estate on the net.
As you also covered in point 2, it’s such a powerful way to build trusted relationships. Unlike a sales page or a website, it gives people a chance to get to know the ‘real person’ behind the technology.
It’s incredible how strong these relationships can become once we connect from our blogs to Facebook and Skype etc.
